Objectifs :
Ce cours donne une introduction sur la production par les pairs à base commune dont les logiciels libres et Wikipédia sont des exemples.
Nous étudions des instances de ce type de production ; leurs forces et faiblesses comme organisations dotées d’une structure originale, notamment par rapport à leur besoin de coordination, c’est -à-dire, la résolution de problèmes variés par les communautés distribués à travers l’Internet.
Une attention spécifique sera accordée à l’interaction entre entreprises et communautés dans le processus de l’innovation ouverte.

Objectives:
This course provides an introduction into the development of "community" production, also known as "peer" production - production by peers - with open source software and Wikipedia as early examples.
We will look at examples of peer production and study in detail how they succeed as well as their limitations notably with regard to the need for coordination, i.e. the resolution of various types of problems by distributed online communities, taken as an original form of organization.
Particular attention will be given to the ways in which firms can interact with communities in the process of open innovation.
