Compétences à acquérir

The objective of this course is to examine classic themes of public law from an international, European and comparative perspective, contrasting and comparing approaches in civil and common law jurisdictions, and analysing the impact of international and European norms. Themes covered during the course include the diverse constitutional set-ups of different countries, the institutional relationship between parliament, the executive and the judiciary, Constitutional Courts and constitutional review, Constitutional principles such as the separation of powers and the rule of law, principles of public law and judicial review.
